To all couples out there...today is only a day of the RECOGNITION of Love. Practice showing your King or Queen how much you truely love and appreciate them THROUGHOUT THE YEAR! And whoever is still single out there remember...in order to manifest TRUE LOVE in your life, ya gotta gotta GOTTA learn to love yourself first, your neighbors 2nd and your occupation 3rd! I promise it's really this simple!!!

Here's a little history on how Valentine's Day came about:

Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is an annual holiday celebrated on February 14. It originated as a Western Christian liturgical feast day honoring one or more early saints named Valentinus, and is recognized as a significant cultural and commercial celebration in many regions around the world, although it is not a public holiday in any country.

Several martyrdom stories associated with the various Valentines that were connected to February 14 were added to later martyrologies, including a popular hagiographical account of Saint Valentine of Rome which indicated he was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians, who were persecuted under the Roman Empire. According to legend, during his imprisonment, Saint Valentine healed the daughter of his jailer, Asterius, and before his execution, he wrote her a letter signed "Your Valentine" as a farewell.

The day first became associated with romantic love within the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the 14th century, when the tradition of courtly love, flourished. In 18th-century England, it evolved into an occasion in which lovers expressed their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionary, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). In Europe, Saint Valentine's Keys are given to lovers "as a romantic symbol and an invitation to unlock the giver’s heart", as well as to children, in order to ward off epilepsy (called Saint Valentine's Malady). Valentine's Day symbols that are used today include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since the 19th century, handwritten valentines have given way to mass-produced greeting cards.

Saint Valentine's Day is an official feast day in the Angelucan communion, as well as in the Lutheran Church Many parts of the Eastern Othodox Church also celebrate Saint Valentine's Day, albeit on Jily 6 and July 30, the former date in honor of the Roman presbyter Saint Valentine, and the latter date in honor of Hieromartyr Valentine, the Bishop of Interamna (modern Terni)

Enjoy your day lovers!!! ;)

Mountain Magic Romance

Jon pulled her onto his lap. Kneading her slim hip with one hand, he swept his tongue around her lips, then tasted inside her mouth, savoring the silkiness and the gentle rasping of his tongue against the even teeth. At her almost inaudible moan of surrender, he slipped his hand under her jacket, stroking the slender back before he almost urgently trace a path around her ribs to cup her breast.

Caitlyn's arm tightened on his neck and her head fell against his shoulder. Jon kissed her cheek, nuzzled the hair away from her ear and breathed her name. He licked at the delicate earlobe, then circled his tongue on the satiny skin of her neck before he gently nipped a path downward. Beneath her jacket, he ran his thumb over her nipple, which surged against the callused pad.

Neglecting the breast a necessary second, he reached beneath her buckskin blouse and teasingly danced his fingers across bare skin, back toward her breast. When he cupped it again, Caitlyn choked out a gasp and tightened her fingers in his hair.

"Jon," she said with an aching sob of need. "I didn't mean...oh, God, Jon".

"What, darlin'?" he whispered, pulling his hand free and unbuttoning the wolfskin jacket with no resistance from Caitlyn. "What did you mean?"

He unlaced the front of her blouse as he kissed a path along her collarbone.

"I only thought...the little kisses", Caitlyn admitted in a forced voice, "weren't long enough".

Jon pushed the buckskin blouse from her shoulder and found her breast again. "You only had to ask, sweetheart. I've got all the kisses for you that you could ever want".
