I had a great convo with a handsome bus driver once. It was so good, when he reached the last stop he allowed me to stay on the bus with him while everyone else got off so we could continue chatting. 

He wrote his number down on a transfer then handed it to me. He said, "I never connected to any woman the way I connected with you". I was flattered but I never called him cuz he said he was married with 5 kids. And I told him that I couldn't promise him a phone call cuz he was married. I appreciated him for being honest cuz not too many men would be honest. 

The giving out of the phone number was the start of infidelity on his part and if I actually called him, I would have been enabling his behavior. No thanks! I would have felt guilty and I know how karma works. So yeah him and I never dated and we couldn't!

Another time, there was an average-looking, heavyset bus driver who was interested in me. He kept bragging that he had a good pension and gives really good foot massages with the oil n all. We didn't even have a regular conversation yet and he was getting into all that😂 I immediately turned that down cuz I could tell he was desperate. 

I thought to myself, "does this man want me to use him or something?", which I wouldn't do btw. And from what I can remember, he initiated the conversation and asked me,"You like massages?" or "You like getting foot rubs?" 

I just can't take a man seriously if he's gonna start a conversation off like that. Unless he's promoting a spa that just opened down the block, I'm not taking him seriously. I'm gonna assume that he's on the prowl for some physical action. I'm good. We never dated.

And last but not least, there was a FINE bus driver once who took REALLY good care of himself. I'm talkin about fresh haircut, nice features, great skin, biker shades on and arms that were about to bust out of his uniform sleeves!😍🤤

I gave him a compliment and he said, "Thank you. Lemme give you my number (555-fineazhell), the name is Mike". I contacted him but he kept playing games so I let him go✌🏼#dating

The 8 Types of Love

2. Philia: Affectionate love, friendship

This is the love of friendship, void of sexual attraction. It promotes loyalty, camaraderie and self-sacrifice for the group. It is a love between equals.

3. Storge: Familiar love

This is a love of familiarity, or the love between kinship and family. It’s the love between children and parents. It also occurs between childhood friends who maintain that love throughout adulthood.

However, this type of love can become an obstacle when members of these clans or groups begin to develop different ideals.

4. Agape: Selfless, unconditional, spiritual love

This is the purest form of love. This is an unconditional love, or love from or for God, or what Buddhists call “universal loving kindness.” It is love with an absence of expectations or desires, a forgiving love that transcends all flaws and shortcomings.

5. Ludus: Playful love

This is the type of love that usually develops early on, when we are falling in love with someone. This is the type of love that helps sustain long-term relationships, keeping love interesting, exciting and alive.

6. Pragma: Enduring love

This is the type of love that develops over time between two people. This type of love develops harmony which transcends the casual or physical. It develops through the refined practice of patience, compromise and tolerance toward one another.

It can be between friends, family members or romantic couples. It is found within long-married couples and decades-long friendships.

7. Philautia: Self-love

This kind of love can be healthy or unhealthy. The healthy kind has positive self-esteem, while the unhealthy kind can be powered by egotism.

Healthy self-love promotes confidence, perseverance and resilience. It allows one to care for oneself in order to care for others.

8. Mania: Obsessive love

This is a negative type of love that occurs as a result of an imbalance between eros and ludus.

It comes from poor self-esteem, jealousy, possessiveness, neediness and codependency.

Beneath her jacket, he ran his thumb over her nipple, which surged against the callused pad.

Neglecting the breast a necessary second, he reached beneath her buckskin blouse and teasingly danced his fingers across bare skin, back toward her breast. When he cupped it again, Caitlyn choked out a gasp and tightened her fingers in his hair.

"Jon," she said with an aching sob of need. "I didn't mean...oh, God, Jon".

"What, darlin'?" he whispered, pulling his hand free and unbuttoning the wolfskin jacket with no resistance from Caitlyn. "What did you mean?"

He unlaced the front of her blouse as he kissed a path along her collarbone.

"I only thought...the little kisses", Caitlyn admitted in a forced voice, "weren't long enough".

Jon pushed the buckskin blouse from her shoulder and found her breast again. "You only had to ask, sweetheart. I've got all the kisses for you that you could ever want".
