I had a great convo with a handsome bus driver once. It was so good, when he reached the last stop he allowed me to stay on the bus with him while everyone else got off so we could continue chatting. 

He wrote his number down on a transfer then handed it to me. He said, "I never connected to any woman the way I connected with you". I was flattered but I never called him cuz he said he was married with 5 kids. And I told him that I couldn't promise him a phone call cuz he was married. I appreciated him for being honest cuz not too many men would be honest. 

The giving out of the phone number was the start of infidelity on his part and if I actually called him, I would have been enabling his behavior. No thanks! I would have felt guilty and I know how karma works. So yeah him and I never dated and we couldn't!

Another time, there was an average-looking, heavyset bus driver who was interested in me. He kept bragging that he had a good pension and gives really good foot massages with the oil n all. We didn't even have a regular conversation yet and he was getting into all that😂 I immediately turned that down cuz I could tell he was desperate. 

I thought to myself, "does this man want me to use him or something?", which I wouldn't do btw. And from what I can remember, he initiated the conversation and asked me,"You like massages?" or "You like getting foot rubs?" 

I just can't take a man seriously if he's gonna start a conversation off like that. Unless he's promoting a spa that just opened down the block, I'm not taking him seriously. I'm gonna assume that he's on the prowl for some physical action. I'm good. We never dated.

And last but not least, there was a FINE bus driver once who took REALLY good care of himself. I'm talkin about fresh haircut, nice features, great skin, biker shades on and arms that were about to bust out of his uniform sleeves!😍🤤

I gave him a compliment and he said, "Thank you. Lemme give you my number (555-fineazhell), the name is Mike". I contacted him but he kept playing games so I let him go✌🏼#dating

My 1st Romance Novel

 This was the very first romance novel I read that got me into reading romance. I was about 16 years old at that time. 

As you can see it's a vintage book which had golden yellow pages that smell SO GOOD! Looks like a book from the 70s era and it belonged to my mom. She also likes Agatha Christie books which I still need to indulge in! I clearly remember one book she owns called "Agatha Christie and the ABC Murders" (evidently not romance lol).

Anyway, I remember reading this book which was so hard to put down! I'd be laying on my bed rolling around each time I got to a "good part"😉 saying, "Omg this woman is so LUCKY!" (Don't judge me😇🤭) But then the book fell apart and had missing pages so I didn't get to finish reading it. But I will hunt down this book and start from the beginning again...can't wait!🥰

From that time on I would borrow those Harlequin Presents and Harlequin Blaze romance novels from my local public library and really REALLY enjoyed reading them. If you love romance too and never read any Harlequin romance, I HIGHLY recommend that you buy or borrow one or a few asap cuz you're gonna love them!

MAJOR CONGRATS to Naka and Dominique for tying the knot in the last week!🎉👩🏿‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏻💍These two are the most ADORABLE couple that I have ever watched on youtube  and I highly recommend you all watch their life journey as well! 

Once you start watching their channel, you might get addicted cuz it's happened to me and a few of their other followers. I'm pretty sure it's because of the insane chemistry that we all noticed they had goin' on🥰

They're a Canadian couple living their best lives in Mexico. I can't wait until they have their tribe of 10-20 kids🤭and I pray that God continues to be in the center of their marriage through thick and through thin! Truly they were made for each other!🍾🥂❤️

For those of you who are still single and waiting on God to send you your purpose mate, keep an opened mind about interracial love. It is also a beautiful thing! I have a couple of relatives who married outside of their race and till this day they are all going strong!

Major Highschool Crush

 Back in highschool I was head over heels for this one guy and kept talking to this girl about him. She went out of her way and bought me these little love books from Barnes & Noble I believe. That was so adorable and thoughtful of her! 

The gentleman and I never dated but we did chat a few times. He was respectful and friendly. He was also a football player but he wasn't the typical big ego football player. I felt he was different from all the other guys so that made me fall HARD for him.

I remember he drove a black mitsubishi eclipse sports car and every time I walked by the football field and saw that black mitsubishi, my heart went bidi bidi bom bom cuz I knew he was at practice that day🥰

I had it so bad for him that whenever I saw a black mitsubishi eclipse parked somewhere or on the road traveling, I thought to myself, "Omg that might be him! He might be here too!"

I only mention his car because that's what reminded me of him. I can care less what kind of car a man drives because it doesn't define him. I'm no superficial woman. And whether he drove a car or not I wouldn't have cared because I saw who he was as a person. I wouldn't have cared if he wasn't a football player either. His beautiful SPIRIT is what captured me!

He's married with kids now and it's cool cuz what I felt for him is long gone now. But I will ALWAYS remember those feelings and moments when him and I conversed...oh the highschool memories!🤗❤️

Congrats to JLo and Ben Affleck! They tied the knot in Vegas recently! I know how much she wanted to get married to the love of her life and it seems like she finally did. I pray they truly are soulmates and that nothing and NO ONE comes in between them. 

Interesting thing is she made a movie called “Marry Me” not too long ago. Girlfriend stayed in that frequency and manifested exactly what she wanted!

College Days: Date To The Movies

Reminds me of the time when I went to the movies to see Avatar with this guy who invited me out on a date. This was back in my college days.

After a while he put his arm around me and when I flinched he removed his arm. “You don’t want me to put my arm around you?”, he asked. “No, it’s too soon for that”, I told him straightforwardly. I forgot what he said after that but he respected my wish which I appreciated.

I may have crushed his ego in that moment which I never intended to do. I was just being myself! It was the first date and I barely knew him! Why all of sudden he wanna get all closey close to me?! I could understand if it were like a few dates later but not the first date.   I’m sort of like a feral cat on the first date, like don’t touch me please and thank you!🤷🏻‍♀️

He was a Scorpio and these lovely people are known for moving fast while dating a person. I love you Scorpies🥰but y’all move too fast for me. He also gave me a death stare after the movie was over but I wasn’t afraid cuz I learned that that’s how they try to figure you out.

When we walked out the theatre he mentioned that him and his friends were going to spring break in Florida and said I should go with him. I bet it would have been a 💣💥experience but I barely knew the guy and I didn’t like the kind of friends he had so I never went with him.

We never ended up together for a variety of reasons. One of the major reasons was that I just knew he wasn’t the one. He was my type too so appearance had nothing to do with it. Despite all that he’d still check up on me via facebook.

Now of course there's a time and a place to show off your back or any other part of your body. If you're 25+ then you understand what I mean.

Yummy Desserts

Last night a sweetheart gave me a dozen mouthgasmic vegan Insomnia Cookies for $Free.99! I only wanted to try one but he gave me a dozen and said it was on the house. You would never even know that these were vegan cookies if no one told you!👅💦🤤😊

These cookies come in regular, vegan and gluten-free and are served warm so they make the perfect comfort food during this chilly season. Enjoy it with that special someone or with family and friends this holiday season. 

My favorite cookie from there thus far is the sugar cookie with sprinkles in it, yum yum!😋

 After one or even multiple pregancies, a woman's body will change. Some women bounce back naturally and some women have to work hard to bounce back. 

Then you have bodily changes due to aging or even a physical accident (knock on wood). Regardless, it's imperative for everyone to be physically active and to eat in moderation for health purposes. All at the same time accepting that bodily changes will happen.

Yes I have been MIA but won't be anymore since they FINALLY updated the layout/interface of the blogger app. It's SOOO much smoother and faster to use now yaaay! Geez it's about time blogger! 

Any who, I hope you are all staying home and staying safe during this unprecedented corona virus outbreak. I am personally a little grateful because I get to relax and rest a lot more than when I was out and about going to work almost everyday before the outbreak took place. And my heart goes out to all those who have been affected by the virus.

Valentine's Day Treat

Hey lovebirds! I know it's been forever since I posted anything for you. Been super busy with my new job in the city. I hope all is well in your lives, especially in your love lives!

I came across this super cute Valentine's Day cookie at a store in the city called Dali Market. As much as it is cute, the taste can be better. All I tasted was pure sugar...absolutely NO FLAVOR. But I gotta say it's too frikkin cute! It was only $2. It's covered in white chocolate which wasn't the greatest. I should have bought the milk chocolate one instead.

I gotta start making my own desserts n add the yummilicious lemon zest in it oh yeah! And once I start getting my Betty Crocker on, I will surely show you all my fantabulous creations!
